History: Dragonfly is from an alternate reality wherein dragonflies rather than primates evolved to become the dominant species. Despite having been the dominant species on the planet for millions of years longer than humans have, their species is only slightly more technologically advanced. They are a species centered around the philosophies of competition and individual success as opposed to cooperation and group well-being. He was considered an outlaw and a rebel on his home world because he believed that his people should work together to solve problems and overcome threats. His ideas and actions were considered so outrageous and anathema that he was captured by his people, some even from his own birth clutch, and expelled from their reality through a technological rift. Although he mourns the loss of being with his own people he takes comfort and joy in the knowledge that they made the decision and efforts to exile him as a group. He hopes this was the spark his world needed to become a better place.
His desire to work as a group towards the common good has not waned since becoming a resident of prime earth. He has gathered together an eclectic group of other individuals who are gifted to help humanity in whatever ways they can, often serving in ways other than combative defense against external or internal super threats. They have been frequently involved in the distribution of food and medical aid in war torn areas around the world, the construction of temporary shelters in countries suffering from weather related disasters and even public speaking engagements in schools and civic organizations.
